Stephen has been providing legal services to the transport industry for more than 15 years. Stephen advises clients in the transport industry on:
- negotiation and drafting of contracts and agreements
- carriage of goods by sea, air and land
- ship arrest and Admiralty
- salvage.
Prior to joining Middletons, Stephen ran the Transport law practice of another Sydney law firm, having previously worked with shipping specialists Hill Taylor Dickinson in London. On the invitation of the Federal Court, Stephen has participated in several working groups addressing the potential for reform of the Admiralty Act.
In 1994 Stephen became accredited by the NSW Law Society as a specialist in commercial litigation. He is a Notary Public and a board member of the Maritime Law Association of Australia and New Zealand.
