David is a partner in Middletons' Corporate and Commercial Group and has been with the firm for more than 17 years.

David's particular areas of expertise include:

• trade practices (both competition and consumer protection issues)

David has been involved in the following significant transactions:

• advising an international food company on the sale of its Australian operations
• advising a national food and beverage company on the long-term outsourcing of its warehousing and local and interstate transport operations
• advising the owners of a major Australian logistics company on the sale of the company
• acting for a global technology company on the establishment of a cleantech joint venture in Australia
• acting for the owner of proprietary technology on the terms of a worldwide strategic alliance
• advising on the purchase of a majority interest in an internet based business with operations in Australia, England and the USA.
