Learn With Us - Judgement debt recovery

Presented by Anne Morgan and Nicole Ward of Middletons, the purpose of this session is to provide an overview of the process for bankruptcy and winding up.

At the completion of this module, participants will able to:

  • Understand the bankruptcy process, including the issuing of a bankruptcy notice and creditors petition and the consequences of obtaining a sequestration order against a debtor
  • Understand the winding up process, including the issuing of a statutory demand and the consequences of obtaining a winding up order against a debtor
  • Identify the most appropriate course for the recovery of a client's judgement debt.

Lunch will be provided. Please advise us of any dietary requirements.
